You’ve been linked to this page because you applied for rent assistance through Kentucky Housing Corporation’s program in 2022. The application’s homepage would have looked like this:
We understand this application for assistance was never completed/paid. If you’re still needing rent assistance, we may be able to help, but you must act now!
You may still be eligible for this assistance if:
1) you still live at the residence you listed in your original application and,
2) you are currently behind on rent.
If this applies to you and you’d like to move forward with a *new* application, you can start the process right now.
To begin:
1) Start the application by clicking here.
You’ll begin the process by registering with Neighborly! We recommend you watch this video for tips on successfully completing the application: https://youtu.be/bYyx5tdB9xs
2) Send us an email letting us know you’ve your application.
Email support@louisvilleran.org to let us know you’ve begun your new application or that you’re still eligible and need assistance. Please include any updated contact information.
3) Collect the necessary documents.
You can either upload them to the application or bring them to one of the upcoming clinics listed below.
Necessary Documentation/information:
Landlord name, email (required) and phone number
Lease
Rent ledger (dated in the last 30 days)
Color Photo ID for all adults in household
Proof of occupancy - examples: utility bill or official mail from last 30 days
Eviction Notice (if applicable)
4) Get in-person help by attending one of our upcoming clinics:
If possible, please complete whatever sections of the application you can before coming to a clinic for help. Also, we will have a Legal Aid representative onsite to answer your questions!
